Lucy Lu
Group Financial Controller
Lucy is a qualified chartered accountant with 20 years experience working in senior accounting roles in China, Hong Kong and Western Australia.
Graduating with Honours from Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, Lucy worked for Dutch Philips Electronics in Shanghai and Hong Kong prior to her settlement in Australia in 2000.
As Group Financial Controller and Contracts Administrator for Highway Construction and its group of companies, Lucy is responsible for the financial management and company reporting for Highway Construction and other entities within the group. She is also responsible for developing and maintaining financial tracking systems and compliance for all project works.
Lucy has also completed an Australian Commerce Degree, and double major in Accounting and Business Law with Curtin University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia.
Lucy ensures she remains current in all aspects of commercial governance and corporate law for private business through her professional memberships and affiliations. Her commercial acumen and keen eye for detail also helping ensure the continued efficient management of the company’s financial operations. This has also resulted in the development of excellent relationships with the company’s corporate banking entities and all associated regulatory bodies.
