Project Description

Highway Construction, together with joint venture partners Boral Asphalt and Egis Consulting, have a 10 year contract with Main Roads WA to maintain and rehabilitate roads in the north metropolitan area of Perth. The contract also includes the maintenance and installation of signs, lighting and line markings. Best Roads Group is the entity formed to complete this contract. The length of the roads within this contract is 315km.

Special Features/Challenges:

Undertaking civil works in a highly trafficked urban environment that requires complex traffic management solutions.
The implementation and continual updating of an asset management system that uses satellite technology to precisely map all Best Roads Group signs and lighting on the road network
